Question I need swaps ideas from the late 70's and early 80's.

I have been asked to give a talk and give some swap ideas about the early Girl Scouts. I started in the late 70's I need some swaps ideas to give them. I also need help and ideas from all the experience leaders out there.

Please help me!!!!

I know when I was a girl scout long ago..
We did a lot of swaps with plastic cord.. remember the key chains you would weave? Maybe you are too young for those.

But we did small ones and hung them on a safety pin with a tag

We also did beading on wire, With a plastic bead or something for a specific occasion.. Christmas would be a Christmas bead etc..

Hope that helps!

I just remembered another swap we did.. Indian stuff was big back in the 70's
Back then we would have used fake leather but today you could use foam and make little moccasins

Thumbs up 70's swaps

You could take various bright colored fake flowers with no stem and put colored smiley face foamies in the middle. Then all you would need are pins for the back.
